BOC Limited and ATCO Australia Pty Ltd
The South Australian Government is implementing the Hydrogen Jobs Plan which includes the following infrastructure to be constructed at Whyalla:
- 250MWe of electrolysers;
- 200MW of power generation to be powered by hydrogen produced by the electrolysers; and
- the Hydrogen Reticulation and Storage System (HRSS).
A consortium made up of ATCO Australia and BOC (ABC) has been engaged by the South Australian Government to provide Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) Services to deliver the hydrogen facility at Whyalla.
ATCO Australia is part of the $29B global ATCO Group, with 25 years of Australian experience in natural gas infrastructure construction and operations, including the 180MW Osborne Power Station in Adelaide.
BOC is a subsidiary of Linde, one of the world's leading industrial gases and engineering companies with global revenue of US$33 billion and an established hydrogen business along the entire value chain.
Both ATCO and BOC have had operations in SA for over 60 years.
ABC is interested in receiving expressions of interest from organisations who consider they have the skills and experience to contribute to the development of the Whyalla Hydrogen Facility
