Overview

The Western Parkland City, including Campbelltown Local Government Area (LGA), is experiencing unprecedented growth, both in terms of residential population and infrastructure.

Campbelltown City Council (CCC) is supporting this growth through the implementation of a number of key infrastructure projects within the city that will be delivered over the coming years. These major infrastructure projects will be a catalytic driver of economic growth, stimulating the local economy and strengthening Campbelltown's position as a key strategic centre for western Sydney.

CCC is responsible for a capital works program that delivers a variety of assets and services for the community, including:

  • Roads, bridges and carparks
  • Footpaths and cycleways
  • Leisure centres and swimming pools
  • Campbelltown Arts Centre
  • Campbelltown Sports Stadium
  • Parks, open space and playgrounds
  • Libraries and community centres
  • Storm water, drainage and flood mitigation.

Some of the major infrastructure projects to be delivered by CCC within the next few years include:

  • Campbelltown Arts Centre expansion
  • Campbelltown City Centre Transformation Project
  • Campbelltown Sports and Health Centre of Excellence
  • Macarthur Recreation Trail
  • Railway Parade Bridge Upgrade
  • Ingleburn Town Centre Transformation Project
  • Glenfield Town Centre Beautification and Public Art Project
  • Campbelltown Billabong Parklands Project
  • Construction of the multi-storey carpark at Farrow Road
  • Construction and renewal of roads, bridges, bush shelters, cycleways, footpaths and carparks
  • Various community and recreation enhancements, including playspace upgrades at multiple locations.

Under the Local Government Act, all councils are required to undertake a public tender process for projects costing more than $250,000. The significant Campbelltown Capital Works Program presents many opportunities for local industry and service providers to work with Council via the public tender process.

To find out about the tender opportunities available through CCC, visit the Campbelltown City Council website.
