The Design and Construction of the Aikenhead Centre for Medical Discovery (ACMD) Main Works which comprises of a new 12-storey building and 1-level basement, including the following:

• 7 levels of fit out - education, workspace, research labs, cafe shell, back-of-house and plant areas, and supporting amenities
• 4 levels of cold shell
• 1 level of roof plant
• 1 level of basement - plant rooms, end-of-trip facilities

ACMD will be a purpose built facility and will host unprecedented collaboration between industry, research, practice and education to deliver better health outcomes preventative health strategies that will help to reduce the burden of illness in the community.

To make way for the construction of the new ACMD Project, an Early Works package is currently being completed prior to commencement of the Main Works package.

Local Content

The minimum level of Local Content for this Project has been set at 90% for Contstruction and 80% for FF&E.

Timing

Construction is set to commence in Q4 2022 and is expected to be completed by Q4 2024.

Please Note - this is NOT an EOI for the Main Works Contractor as this process has already been undertaken by St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne. However if you are a sub-contractor, manufacturer and/or product supplier please complete an EOI below.
