Manufacturers are looking to bring down the cost of their energy bills. That's why the Office of Environment and Heritage is offering over $16 million in funding to help NSW manufacturing businesses save energy and money. NSW manufacturers can apply for up to $120,000 in matched funding per manufacturing site, to upgrade their equipment and become more energy efficient.
Businesses implementing similar projects have found savings can run to over $100,000 a year, while reducing downtime and maintenance costs.

The first round of funding is now open and closes 5pm AEST 30 June 2019. However, the Office of Environment and Heritage will assess applications and award funding as they are submitted.

OEH be hosting briefing sessions across metropolitan and regional NSW in March and April 2019, as well as an online webinar for those who can't attend. Sessions will be held in Parramatta, Newcastle, Wollongong, Wagga Wagga, Queanbeyan, Bathurst, Dubbo, Byron Bay, Ourimbah and Coffs Harbour.
