Coliban Water (project owner) will nominate a main contractor via competitive tender to carry out the design and construct work for the Bendigo WRP Solids Handling Upgrade project. The main contractor will perform detailed design work to procure, construct, commission performance test and deliver the following packages of work.

HV/LV Electrical system

• WRP Plant switchroom building
• HV and LV switchboards
• Transformers
• HV and LV cabling including cable tray
• Earthing system

Solids Handling Plant

• Concrete tanks
• Liquid transfer systems (includes pumps, valves and piping)
• Sludge thickening and dewatering systems
• Foul air capture, extraction and treatment system
• Solids outloading system including truck bay
• Field switchboard, cabling and PLC
• Office building

General site work includes

• Demolition of redundant assests
• Vegetation removal
• Earthworks
• Construction of access roads and car parking areas
• Process bunding and drainage
• Stormwater drainage
• Walkways, access platforms, stairs
• Site lighting and security fencing
• Landscaping
