Norship is a diversified business servicing Marine, Engineering and Manufacturing Industries. As a 100% Australian owned company, we provide the full spectrum of Shipyard Services, from concept, design, prototype, construction, and maintenance support through to docking, emergent repairs, complete refits, and disposals. Norship has evolved servicing Australian Defence, paramilitary, and law enforcement agencies, across Northern Australia and the Pacific Island Nations. We utilise on average a 200 strong trade and engineering workforce to service Government, Commercial and Private customers with workshop facilities in Queensland and Northern Territory. As a leading Marine maintenance & shipbuilding company we have constructed over 270 vessels, including aluminium catamarans for the tourism sector still in service today, and many vessels built for government, including landing craft and patrol boats for the Royal Australian Navy.

Tropical Reef Shipyard (TRS) is a full-service capable shipyard in Cairns Australia for vessels up to 3000 tonnes. TRS offers a comprehensive package including dry docking, ship maintenance, maritime refit and repairs. Marine fabrication all types ferrous and nonferrous materials and a full machine shop. TRS has Afloat (In water) sustainment and repairs with overall 220 linear m of deep water berthing. We have a serviced single berth of up to 110m. Access is unencumbered with 9m water depth at the berth and in the Shipping channel. The largest slipway capacity of 3000 tonnes in Northern Australia and Pacific region. 135m dry slip length with tidal gates. Our highly skilled personnel offer all trades and we are supported by 320 sub-contractors locally. The Shipyard has 220 ton crane pad, Crawler cranes, EWPs and forklifts. With an engineering workshop and covered and open laydown areas. TRS Slipway is Def(Aust) 5000 approved and ISO certified for military and commercial users.
