The Australian Defence Export Office (ADEO) was established in April 2018 as a key initiative of the 2018 Defence Export Strategy. The ADEO is the focal point for coordinating whole-of-government defence export support for Australian defence industry, to ensure it can meet Australia’s defence capability needs now and into the future.

Woodside is pursuing an opportunity to process up to 3 Mtpa of Scarborough gas via the existing Pluto Train 1. This project is known as the Pluto Train 1 Scarborough Modifications Project and involves modifying the existing Pluto Train 1 facility to enable it to process Scarborough gas.
Woodside has selected Bechtel (Western Australia) Pty Ltd and Kellogg Brown and Root Ltd to perform Front End Engineering Design (FEED) services through 2022 under a dual FEED arrangement. Subject to applicable regulatory and joint venture approvals, the execute phase of the Project is expected to commence in 2023.
Woodside will work with its FEED contractors to maximise opportunities for local, regional and Western Australian businesses across the supply chain, including Indigenous participation opportunities.
