The Australian Defence Export Office (ADEO) was established in April 2018 as a key initiative of the 2018 Defence Export Strategy. The ADEO is the focal point for coordinating whole-of-government defence export support for Australian defence industry, to ensure it can meet Australia’s defence capability needs now and into the future.
UGL Regional Linx was established in 2021 after parent company, UGL Limited, was selected to deliver operations and maintenance of rail infrastructure for the Country Regional Network (CRN) from January 30, 2022 in a 10 year agreement. This network ensures the safe movement of people and goods throughout the regions of NSW and links Sydney via rail to many important regional centres.
Newmont Goldcorp has mine operations located in the Tanami Desert of the Northern Territory of Australia. These operations comprise the Granites Processing plant, located 560 km north-west of Alice Springs and 940 km south west of Darwin and Dead Bullock Soak (DBS), located 42 km to the west of The Granites Processing Plant. The TE 2 project aims to provide a deepening and expansion of the Callie Underground Mine at DBS to access ore at depth and increase production to 3.2 million tonnes per annum.
