The Australian Defence Export Office (ADEO) was established in April 2018 as a key initiative of the 2018 Defence Export Strategy. The ADEO is the focal point for coordinating whole-of-government defence export support for Australian defence industry, to ensure it can meet Australia’s defence capability needs now and into the future.
John Holland is proud to be partnering with Health Infrastructure and the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District (ISLHD) to deliver the Shoalhaven Hospital Redevelopment on the NSW South Coast. The state-of-the-art development will deliver new, expanded and integrated health facilities for the Shoalhaven region, reducing the need for patients to travel to Wollongong and Sydney.
The $438 million redevelopment will provide new facilities, including cardiology, mental health and aged care wards, additional operating theatres, a new emergency department and intensive care unit, as well as greater access to more specialised staff, equipment and technology.
The intersection upgrade will improve safety for all transport customers, reduce congestion, improve access to local roads and growing tourist and residential areas, improve network resilience, support active and public transport users and support the growth of regional economies.
The NSW Government is in the development phase for the State's first Renewable Energy Zone
(REZ) in the Central-West Orana region. The Central-West Orana REZ is approximately 20,000
square kilometres centred by Dubbo and Dunedoo, on the land of the Wiradjuri, Wailwan also
known as Wayilwan, Wailwan, Ngiyampaa and Ngiyampaa and Ngemba Wailwan people and
Kamilaroi also known as Gamilaraay, Gomeroi and Kamillaroi people. The REZ will initially
unlock at least 3 gigawatts of new network capacity by the mid-2020s, enough to power 1.4
million homes. It is expected to bring up to $10 billion in private investment to the Central-West
HumeLink is one of Australia's largest energy projects,delivering a new 365km long high voltage (500kV) transmission network to connect Snowy 2.0 at Maragle with Wagga Wagga in the west and Bannaby to the north.The 130km long southern most section of the transmission tower alignment,known as HumeLink West, is being delivered by two CIMIC Group companies, UGL Engineering and CPB Contractors working together as the HumeLink West JV (HLJV). In addition to construction of 360 transmission towers,the project includes upgrades to a substation at Wagga Wagga and the construction of new substations at Maragle and Gugaa.
The HLJV procurement team is currently establishing supplier relationships to support:
Augmentation of the existing Wagga Wagga 330kV substation
Delivery of a new 500kV substation at Maragle
Delivery of a new 500/330kV substation at Gugaa
Relocation of approx 2km of the existing 330kV Line between Wagga Wagga substation and lower Tumut switching.
Covalent Lithium is developing, and will operate, the Covalent Lithium Project which will include the construction and operation of a fully integrated mine, concentrator and refinery in Western Australia.
The Rail Corridor Program involves the delivery of above-ground works, which includes track construction, rail welding, transportation of materials, and the installation and commissioning of level crossings on approximately 570 kilometres of railway between Narromine and Moree in New South Wales and North Start (New South Wales) to Gowrie in Queensland taking in the project's largest greenfield sections.

The interchange will replace the existing intersection of the Princes Motorway and Mount Ousley Road, improving connectivity, safety and efficiency for those travelling through the gateway to Wollongong.
Detailed design is progressing and early work will start in the coming weeks.
Major work is planned to start in late 2024 with the project expected to take about four years to complete, weather permitting.
