Regional/Indigenous WA Opportunities

The supply and maintenance of the learning package software for an Aboriginal Digital Health Education Platform at Perth Children's Hospital. The Health Education program should be delivered via touch-screen Kiosks. Both mobile & fixed kiosks are needed for use in a variety of patient scenarios (eg in Hospital Wards).

The Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) has current contracts for the supply of equipment which is stowed on fire appliances. These are called the stowage kits. DFES stores area currently receive all the equipment from the different providers and place them in to kits depending on the appliance type. These kits are then issued to the contracted appliance builders to stow on the appliances.

DFES stores area is under increased pressure with resourcing and space to accomplish this task therefore DFES are investigating the possibility of an Aboriginal business providing this service whereby they receive the goods, put them into the kits for each of the new builds and issue to the build companies in accordance with an agreed schedule. The issuing of the stowage kits is critical to DFES build program for fire appliances. It would be desirable that the Aboriginal business provider be based in or near Perth WA.
