ABOUT WOOLLAM CONSTRUCTIONS
Woollam Constructions is a leader in the commercial construction industry and at 135 years is one of Australia’s oldest privately-owned construction firms. The evolution of Woollam has paralleled the changing face of Australia. From a small family business started by an optimistic migrant in the late 1800s, the company continues to create buildings for the times.
We design and construct future proof buildings for our local communities; aged care, healthcare, schools, airports, and social infrastructure. Our character is distinguished by the collaborative approach of our people and their dealings with colleagues, clients and the community to achieves our promise that working together sets us apart. The experience and nous of our ‘older heads’ is complemented by recruits who bring in fresh ideas and stimulate a re-think of traditional approaches and systems.
Each project is benefited with a clear chain of accountability, with our operational directors assuming the ultimate responsibility for the success of each and every project. As company shareholders, our operational directors, Craig Percival (Managing Director) and George Bogiatzis (Director / Chairman), both of whom began with Woollam as cadets in 1989 and 1983 respectively, have a vested interest in the continuous improvement of projects.
The vibrancy of this interaction produces ongoing improvement in our planning, construction, and administrative systems, to ensure that project benefits from best in class industry practice and innovations.
