Areas for the sale of tickets, merchandise, food and beverages.
Administrative facilities for Netball Queensland.
Air-conditioning to the administration facilities and the netball court hall.
Ability to broadcast major events.
Undercover car parking.
Upgrade of existing on-site car parking.
The Department of State Development (DSD) is managing this project on behalf of Stadiums Queensland. The construction of the project will be undertaken through a Design and Construct (AS4300) head contract.
Selection of a head-contractor was being managed by DSD through a tender process and has now concluded. Hansen Yuncken has been awarded the Design and Construct Contract.
The list of businesses that have registered an Expression of Interest (EOI) for the work packages listed by DSD previously will be made available for reference and use by Hansen Yuncken.
Hansen Yuncken will be responsible for the award of all trade packages. Hansen Yuncken may elect to invite offers from firms that have or will express interest, however note that they are not obliged to do so and there is no guarantee that work will emanate from this EOI process. The procurement process for the trade packages will be the responsibility of Hansen Yuncken and the sub-contract arrangements will be by agreement between the them and sub-contractors.
The list of work-packages to be listed by Hansen Yuncken may vary with some potential, additional work packages from the one's previously listed by DSD.
Firms expressing interest are to be aware that Hansen Yuncken will have to comply with the following specific government requirements for this project.
1. Queensland Code
2. Building Code 2016
3. Support for Local Industry
4. Training Policy
To meet their head contract obligations, Hansen Yuncken may reciprocate these requirements into their sub-contracts. For further information on these Government requirements that apply to the head contractor, please review the Project Documents Section below on this page.
