CGD - 1920-01 Natural Resource Management

The aim of Natural Resource Management within the municipality is to:

• To protect, preserve and enhance the flora, fauna, habitat and recreational values of Council’s bushland reserves, revegetation projects and areas of natural remnant vegetation.


• To facilitate community understanding of Council’s parks, natural reserves and areas of remnant vegetation and associated flora and fauna.


• Increase species diversity and/or coverage through revegetation, regeneration and site specific management techniques.
  Reduce weed cover and weed species in Council parks and reserves.


• Reduce numbers of pest animals in Council parks and reserves.
