CGD - 1819-23 Install, Dismantle and Storage - Christmas Decorations

Whilst the City of Greater Dandenong is Australia’s most culturally diverse local government area, the Mayor and Councillors support a traditional Christmas theme for Christmas decorations.

As a reflection of this, four years ago, Council commissioned a style guide to reflect the branding of Christmas decorations and purchased large Christmas decoration that are installed in the three major activity centres.  

Each year the Council’s Economic Development Unit coordinates the installation of multiple Christmas decorations in the following centres, Dandenong, Springvale and Noble Park. These decorations are generally installed on Council owned buildings, footpaths and civic spaces. The suite of decorations have been developed over a number of years with the main focus on the pedestrian level in the retail centres.
