CGD - 1718-31 Springvale Open Space CCTV - Camera Supply and Installation

City of Greater Dandenong has received Federal funding for the expansion of its Safe City – CCTV System into the Springvale main activity centre. The expansion will see thirty-four cameras in twenty locations encompassing Springvale Road, Buckingham Avenue, Balmoral Avenue and the Warwick Avenue carpark.

The cameras and associated equipment will be mounted on a combination of United Energy (UE) poles and City of Greater Dandenong (CoGD) owned assets. This contract is specifically for the supply and installation of the cameras and radio repeaters, along with connection to the CoGD network (through existing network switches and WiFi connections). The contract also includes supply and installation of (2x) 24 channel DVR/NVRs shall be 24 channel, 36TB Raid 5 device with removable video storage. The DVR/NVRs shall be complete with on board HDD storage.

The contract includes connection to existing POE cables and patch panels supplied by CoGD. POE  and/or 240V power will be supplied to each location by CoGD.
