RAAF Base Sale Redevelopment

The project involves a major redevelopment of the RAAF Base in East Sale, including:
- development of 180 accommodation unit
- physical fitness training facilities
- air traffic control facilities
- services infrastructure upgrades
- chapel and community support facility
- commercial facilities
- security fencing
- 25m firing range
- upgrade of fuel farm
- bore water treatment plant
- demolition works
Thiess are currently contracted as the Managing Contractor and ICN has been engaged to identify suitable suppliers of the goods and services required via its Project Gateway program.
Businesses in the Wellington, Latrobe and East Gippsland regions are specifically sought after to supply building and civil works.

The RAAF Base East Sale Redevelopment is a Federal worksite and companies must be compliant with, or willing to become compliant with, the National Code of Practice for the Construction Industry and Implementation Guidelines (2006 Version).
To be considered, tendering companies must have a National Code of Practice compliance certificate.
